1-12-2015 ANGKOR WAT, CAMBODIA - COMMON PARASOL DRAGONFLY (Neurothemis fluctuans)


Neurothemis fluctuans, the red grasshawk, common parasol or grasshawk dragonfly, is a species of dragonfly in the family Libellulidae. It is widespread in many Asian countries.

The dragonfly actually is a predatory insect that eats other smaller insects as its food such as mosquito, bee, wasp and ant. The dragonfly has the perfect ability in flying that inspired engineer to design air crafts based on its body structure and wings.
