The Currant Spanworm Moth (Macaria ribearia) is a native North American geometrid moth. Adult moths boast a wingspan of roughly 28 to 29 mm (1.1 inches) and feature pale yellow wings with brownish-gray markings. Its caterpillars are primarily known for feeding on Ribes species, including currants, gooseberries, and blueberries.
