9-3-2025 MONTE CORONA, VALENCIA - ANT EATING THERIDIID SPIDER (Euryopis episinoides)


 Prosoma black or yellow-brown, margin sometimes dark. Posterior eye row strongly recurved, equal distance between the eyes. Legs yellowish brown to dark grey, sometimes appearing annulated due to dark markings. Opisthosoma brownish to shiny black with indistinct pattern

Body length male: 2.0-2.8 mm

Body length female: 2.5-3.5 mm

Additional information

In garrigue, dunes, fallowlands, littoral saline areas, meadows and alder wood.
