Onopordum nervosum, called Moor's cotton thistle or reticulate thistle, is a species of flowering plant in the genus Onopordum native to the Iberian peninsula. It has gained the Royal Horticultural Society's Award of Garden Merit.
It is strictly endemic to the Iberian Peninsula , introduced to southern England . It grows along roadsides, in fallow fields and abandoned crops, etc., usually on basic, more or less nitrified and occasionally siliceous substrates, at altitudes between sea level and 1,500 m.
