The Sickle-bearing Leaf Katydid (Phaneroptera sparsa) is a widespread green bush-cricket species recognized by its leaf-like appearance and sickle-shaped ovipositor. Found across Africa, the Middle East, and parts of southern Europe including the Canary Islands, it is evaluated as Least Concern by the IUCN Red List .
